Hello Joule family! We are thrilled to announce the launch of the next stage of Joule Crafted Nutrition: our Health + Wellness division. In addition to offering an elimination diet-friendly menu full of nutrient-dense options, with Joule Health + Wellness we will now be offering nutrition education in many forms. Our online Joule Community will be an extensive resource guide with content that spans many areas of nutrition, health, and wellness; bringing together the knowledge and expertise of health professionals who share our values and philosophies on food, nutrition, and overall well-being.
We will be offering classes, workshops and educational dinners, online group support, meal plans, and one-on-one nutrition coaching sessions for those who would like more in-depth support with nutrition and lifestyle changes.
We’re excited that with the addition of our Joule Health + Wellness division, we can better help anyone on a journey to improve their diets, in addition to those on specialized diets as they navigate their dietary needs and lifestyle changes. We recognize the need that has long existed for support, guidance, and education around therapeutic diet protocols, including knowing what foods they include and exclude, which conditions benefit from using them, and the complex ins and outs of following them properly. Our goal is to make this journey not only easier, but more enjoyable and delicious.
Marné Minard, a native Oregonian, found the Joule Crafted Nutrition family and immediately felt like she was at home. The passion and dedication she feels for nutrition, health, and wellness is in direct alignment with the intention behind Joule, which makes it a natural fit. She joins the Joule team with a Master of Science in Nutrition from NUNM, a holistic approach to nutrition and health, and a passion for using food as medicine in the prevention and treatment of the common conditions that many people face. She will be utilizing her diverse background, training, knowledge, and immense dedication to the field by leading the Joule Health + Wellness division.
Marné is also the Director of the Nutrition Internship Program and Adjunct Faculty in the Master of Science in Nutrition program at NUNM, helping to educate the next generation of holistic nutritionists as they embark on their journeys. As an avid runner, hiker, wild mushroom enthusiast, foodie, and bookworm, Marné can be found spending her free time running or hiking the trails around Portland, testing out a new recipe in the kitchen, or curled up with a good book and cup of tea.
